About Deep Why
Who We Are
Deep Why Design was founded in 2018 to help nonprofit organizations of all sizes transform and humanize their data systems. Whether we are training admins or creating completely new tools and solutions, we ensure every offering is transparent, equitable, and effective.
Our Story
Our name is a nod to the 5 Whys practice of continuous improvement. This approach to problem solving and design allows us to ultimately get down to the root cause of many interrelated problems or pain points, which we call the Deep Why. This Deep Why provides simplicity and clarity, enabling us to design and implement enduring, resilient digital systems.
Deep Why Design is a proud member of the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) and is a certified LGBT Business Enterprise. We are also a certified WBE—verify our certification at the Supplier Diversity Office of the State of Massachusetts.
Our Mission & Values
Deep Why Design was founded with one main goal in mind: empowering lean nonprofit teams to achieve more with less. We design accessible Salesforce® solutions that uncover opportunities, make sense to staff, and drive growth.
Our core values are:
Providing affordable, sustainable solutions. We believe all nonprofits should have access to optimal fundraising tools to power their growth. We work with our clients to create custom engagements built around their budgetary needs.
Taking a human-first approach. We understand that software adoption is as much about the technology as it is about the team. Our team provides hands-on guidance, so your staff feels supported and confident throughout the process.
Prioritizing transparency and ownership. Your features should be accessible to your team without requiring comprehensive technical knowledge. That’s why we prioritize standard Salesforce® tools over complex code. That way, your team has full control over your own system.
Proudly partnering with changemakers like:
Let’s elevate your Salesforce® instance together.
Our Salesforce® nonprofit consultants are always looking for new opportunities, whether it’s the next innovative project to bring the sector together or supporting an organization through our Office Hours program.
