Dan is a lifelong learner who enjoys problem-solving and helping non-profits further their
mission and strategy with humanized data systems. He takes pride in ensuring that
technology is serving the people who are making the world better. He is a data
governance enthusiast and has a passion for helping Salesforce users understand their
instance and make it more useable and useful through process and customizations.

Dan holds a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies from Wesleyan University and a Bachelor
of Arts Degree in English and History also from Wesleyan. Before joining Deep Why
Design, he worked for over 10 years at non-profits focusing on different aspects of
education: college scholarships, college access and success, and teacher training. After
an initial stint as an “Accidental Admin,” he served officially as a Salesforce
Administrator for seven years. He has accumulated a deep understanding for the inner
workings of nonprofits and a capacity for developing Salesforce operations and tactics
to achieve org-wide strategies.

Dan is an avid reader, especially of science fiction and fantasy, and is most likely to
create a horde of fictional-character-test-records during quality assurance testing.
