Salesforce and email communication go hand-in-hand for most organizations. We cover the basics of using Salesforce in a way that is standard for most integrations, and discuss setting up contacts, leads and campaigns for List Email (from Salesforce), Mailchimp and Constant Contact. We also talk about sendability considerations, SPAM rules and other strategic topics that impact the connection between Salesforce and mass communications. This course is suitable for non-administrators as well as admins.

What to expect from this course
Each course is 90 minutes, online, taught by an experienced Salesforce consultant who has hands-on experience managing Salesforce for nonprofits across many organizations
You will receive a Zoom link prior to the course you’re registered for
Anyone who uses Salesforce is welcome to attend. A basic familiarity with Salesforce core objects is required for this course, and the ability to easily add people to a campaign, so please take our free Basics course first if you’re not yet familiar with Salesforce
You must be using, or expect to start using, Mailchimp or Constant Contact to get the most out of this course, but you’re welcome to attend if you’re just exploring
This will be as hands-on as possible in your real Salesforce. We will guide you through setting up test lists using Salesforce campaigns.
We will provide an example of a common use cases for everything we cover.
